Image Licensing

1. Ownership of the artwork
All artwork shown on this site, and all commissioned pieces, are the intellectual property of BLIXEUR, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commissioning a piece does not transfer copyright in it.
2. License granted to the client
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client receives a personal-use license: they may keep, print, and share the artwork on personal social media, crediting the artist whenever reasonably possible.
3. Commercial use
Any commercial use of the artwork (merchandise, advertising, corporate use, resale prints, etc.) requires a separate commercial license, agreed upon and confirmed in writing before such use.
4. Portfolio and work samples
BLIXEUR may display commissioned work in their portfolio and on social media as a sample of their work. If you would prefer your commission not be published (for your own privacy or someone else's — for example, reference photos of your pet), you may request this before work begins or at any later time by writing to [email protected].
5. Reference material provided by the client
If the client provides reference photos (e.g., of their cat), they confirm they hold the necessary rights to use them for this purpose. Such material is used exclusively to create the commissioned piece and is deleted upon the client's request.
